Hubei Xiangxi Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd. was founded in 1992 and located in Fancheng Industrial Zone in Xiangyang of Hubei province. Close to Xiang-Yu and Jiao-Liu Railway, and the National Highway 316, the company enjoys good location. With an occupied floor area of 6281.5 sqm., greening area of 1000sqm, fixed assets of 3.8 million RMB and annual production value of 7 million RMB, the company is mainly engaged in the research, development and manufacture of active cosmetic ingredients, herbal extracts and organic chemical intermediates. With self-support import & export power, we are a High- and New-tech Enterprise in Hubei Province, and the member of China Perfumes & Cosmetics Industry Association and Hubei Provincial Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Association.

We are the first manufacturer in China to start commercial-scale production of arbutin. The top grade arbutin we offer, which is 99.9% pure or above and contains less than 1ppm of p-hydroquinone impurity, is not found elsewhere in the market by now. The product has received a number of state or provincial level awards, such as Hubei Province Spark Project Award, Hubei Province Excellent QC Award, and more. It has been well accepted by cosmetic manufacturers, including some big brands, in China, Japan, US, EU, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

For sustainable development, we restructured the company in the year 2002. After restructuring, we established a modern management system including perfect services and strict production process, and have built long-term and stable cooperation with research institutes, newly established the Testing Center, Whitening Research Institutes and Synthesis Lab. Also we improved our research department and management department, added more investment (registered capital increased from 1.1 million RMB to 6 RMB. And technologies expanded from synthesis to bio-fermentation and supercritical fluid extraction, and products also diversified. Our leading product, namely "Xiongguo" brand arbutin was honored as "Best Seller in Hubei" in the year 2006; and the company was honored as "Industrial Double Top 10 Companies in Hubei". Products have been honored as "China Famous Brand" and "Quality, Services and Credit AAA-grade Brand", to name just a few.
